As per the rules of this site, yes, this movie ends ok. But a movie with three female leads that doesn't pass the Bechdel Test? Really?
No main/sympathetic characters die. No main/sympathetic character suffers permanent emotional damage. All main/sympathetic characters end in a good place. But feminism is pushed back about 20 years...so your mileage may vary.
From what little I have seen of either movie, this one appears to be an adult version of John Tucker Must Die?
