Ehhh.
This movie has an issue that comes up often in this style of movie (see also: Taken). It's intended to be a happy ending since the two girls the plot revolves around are both rescued, but we are dealing with a serial abductor. For this to be a happy ending, we have to ignore all the other children that were abducted before the film began.
Also, one character's fate is left uncertain, but based on what's shown, I'm sure he's fine.
